About the Level 4 Feng Shui Certificate

Coined in China, the term ‘Feng Shui’ directly translates to ‘wind-water’. Feng Shui itself is an ancient set of practices designed to encourage the flow of energy in our lives, consequently improving health, relationships and fortune. This online course has been designed to provide our learners with an introduction to the art of Feng Shui and to help them stimulate energy flow in their own lives.

This Level 4 qualification takes approximately 110 hours to complete and spans across eight engaging and informative modules. During the course of the home learning programme, students will learn about everything from the five elements and eight compass points, to how to apply Feng Shui in a home or office environment.

Who should study this course?

This home study course is suitable for anyone with an interest in design, ancient Chinese culture or energy flow. While it is more of a general interest course, this qualification may come in handy for individuals who work in design based settings.

As with many of our courses here at learndirect, there are no prerequisites to meet before enrolling. All we ask is that our students are self-motivated and that they have an interest in the topic they choose to study.

What happens after the course?

On successful completion of this distance learning course, students will have a fundamental understanding of how Feng Shui works. They will be able to appreciate the meaning behind these ancient ideologies and apply the practices in daily life.

If students choose, they may be able to use their new skills to develop their career. Some graduates may choose to rearrange their office to increase the energy flow, while others may monopolise on their new skills and find jobs in design. Careers related to this course include:

Entry Requirements

There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.

All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.

*You will have access to the course for 24 months.

Assessment Method

After each lesson there will be a question paper, which needs to be completed and submitted to your personal tutor for marking. This method of continual assessment ensures that your personal tutor can consistently monitor your progress and provide you with assistance throughout the duration of the course.

At the end of this course successful learners will be given the option to receive a Certificate of Achievement from the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

Level 4 Feng Shui Certificate of Achievement

The course has been endorsed under the Quality Licence Scheme. This means that learndirect has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the courses it offers, meet defined quality criteria. The completion of this course alone does not lead to a regulated qualification* but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained. The Learner Unit Summary may be used as evidence towards Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this subject. To this end the learning outcomes of the course have been benchmarked at Level 4 against level descriptors published by Ofqual, to indicate the depth of study and level of demand/complexity involved in successful completion by the learner.

The course itself has been designed learndirect to meet specific learners’ and/or employers’ requirements which cannot be satisfied through current regulated qualifications. The Quality Licence Scheme endorsement involves robust and rigorous quality audits by external auditors to ensure quality is continually met. A review of courses is carried out as part of the endorsement process.
